Only one NHL playoff game tonight, and its between the Winnipeg Jets and the Nashville Predators. Needless to say, I am a huge Connor Hellebuyck fan, and he has had a stellar season. The Jets are the underdog on the road, but I’m going with a 4/2 stack in favor of the Jets. If this holds, it will also propel you into the green, as most likely the percentage of plays will be on Forsberg and the NSH top line.
Top Tier Players
Mark Scheifele | Winnipeg Jets | $11,400
Blake Wheeler | Winnipeg Jets | $11,100
Blake Wheeler looks to lead the Jets to victory in Game 1
Going with the Jets? Then look nowhere else than their impressive top line. They can put up points at will, no matter who the other team is starting between the pipes. You can feel good about putting either of the above into your captain’s role tonight on FanDuel. Or, if you want to be a little contrarian, slide in one of the bargain players listed below:
Kyle Connor | Winnipeg Jets | $8,900
Colton Sissons | Nashville Predators | $6,900
Connor comes in at a slightly cheaper cost, but why not finish out the WPG top line? Count on that top line to take Pekka Rinne out of the game early, and rack up points together. Sissons is a part of the Nashville third line. That same third line did an excellent job at the end of the first series. Even though Sissons is a bit of a reach, I feel good about having him in my lineup tonight.
Ryan Ellis | Nashville Predators | $8,800
Josh Morrissey | Winnipeg Jets | $7,800
The Jets defenseman is one of many poised to prosper tonight
Would loved to insert Roman Josi into my lineup, but the cash just wasn’t there to get him. Ellis is still a solid play, and if the scoring does come from the defense, there is a great chance it could come from him at a discount from Josi. Finishing out the play with only $7,800 left, we find ourselves with a top line defender from WPG. He should have ample opportunity to get points with the rest of our WPG stack.
