Good out there today!

Dallas Stars (2.4) +145 @ Carolina Hurricanes (3.1) -165 | Goalies: Oettinger (C) vs Reimer (P)

PP/PK: DALPP 6th vs CAR 8th PK | CARPP 1st vs DALPK 23rd
Carolina has won 4 of its last 6 games
Carolina is 4-1 against Dallas and has outscored them 19-13 in 5 games H2H
Dallas is 3-3 in their last 6 games, but have won their last 2 games, including a 3-2 win against Carolina on Saturday
Carolina takes the 8th most penalties in hockey

Preferred Lines: CAR1, CAR2, CAR3, CARPP, DAL1
Expensive One-offs: DAL: Dickenson, Benn, Pavelski, Heiskenen, Klingberg | CAR: Hamilton, Aho, Necas, Trocheck, Svechnikov, Reimer (G)
Cheap One-offs: DAL: Lindell, Faksa, Gurianov, Oleksiak | CAR: Skiej, Fast, Slavin, Pesce, McGinn, Foegele, Bean
Notes: Carolina is one of the best teams in the league, and are getting consistent scoring across all three of their top lines. Even with the shaky James Reimer in net, I like them to take care of business against the Stars today who will be starting their backup goalie. CAR2 is probably my favorite spot, but I won’t shy away from the Aho-Necas combo with or without Dougie.

Toronto Maple Leafs (3.1) -155 @ Calgary Flames (2.5) +135 | Goalies: Hutchinson (C) vs Markstrom (P)

PP/PK: TORPP 8th vs CGYPK 15th | CGYPP 17th vs TORPK 21st
Toronto has won 5 of its last 6 games, outscoring opponents 16-10 over that span
Toronto is 4-2 against Calgary this season, outscoring them 14-12 over 6 games H2H
Calgary has lost 6 of its last 7 games, having been outscored 20-11 over that 7 game span
Calgary takes the 3rd most penalties in hockey, making this an appetizing spot for Toronto’s Power Play

Preferred Lines: TOR1, TOR2, TORPP, CGY2, CGY3
Expensive One-offs: TOR: Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Hutchinson (G) | CGY: Lindholm, Tkachuk, Giordano
Cheap One-offs: TOR: Galchenyuk, Muzzin, Simmonds, Spezza, Mikheyev, Holl | CGY: Andersson, Mangiapane, Dube, Bennett, Tanev, Hanifin
Notes: Toronto is in a great spot tonight at both even strength and on the power play in what lines up to be my favorite game on the slate. Both sides have firepower, but Toronto is the better side here, and given the Flames struggles of late, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them throw up a 5 spot tonight. Tonight’s slate starts and ends with TOR1, and while some might fade due to their pricing, I’m not going to be on the wrong side of history by doing so. Give me all the TOR1 and TORPP stacks tonight. On the Calgary side, I’ll take a few shares of CGY3.

Arizona Coyotes (2.9) -130 at Anaheim Ducks (2.6) +110 | Goalies: Hill (C) vs Gibson (P)

PP/PK: AZPP 23rd vs ANAPK 25th | ANAPP 32nd vs AZPK 7th
Arizona has won 5 of its last 7 games, including two wins over Anaheim, outscoring opponents 27-23 through 7 games
Arizona is 5-2 against Anaheim this season, outscoring them 22-15 over 7 games H2H
Anaheim has lost 16 of their last 20 games, and have dropped 9 of their last 12 overall
Arizona is the 6th most penalized team in hockey

Preferred Lines: ANA1, AZ3
Expensive One-offs: AZ: Garland, Chychrun, Keller, Hill (G) | ANA: Gibson (G), Henrique
Cheap One-offs: AZ: Kessel, Dvorak, Keller, Ekman-Larsson, Schmaltz, Crowse, Goligoski | ANA: Comtois, Silfverberg, Drysdale, Fowler, Terry, Zegras
Notes: A lot of unknowns surrounding this game, as both teams like to shuffle their lineups consistently. Building full lines from this game could well wreck your lineups considering how many changes both coaches usually make. My strategy here is to look to either one-offs, goalies, or PP stacks if targeting this game, but frankly, I have much more interest in both of the other games. ANA1 will matchup with that defensively dreadful AZ1 line that skates with a 30% CF currently, so regardless if its Heinen or Zegras on ANA1 with Henrique and Terry, I’m into that line. I’m fine just going with Henrique and Terry two mans with a Cam Fowler kicker for ANA1/ANAPP2 correlation.
