  • Overall Record: 473-410-18
  • Season Record: 37-23-2

Clemson -1.5 vs Maryland

  • Maryland has looked good to start off their 2020 campaign but have yet to play a team ranked inside the KenPom Top 100. It is very difficult to gauge how good this squad is compared to last year, but we will have a lot of questions answered as they travel to play Clemson tonight
  • Clemson has covered in every game so far this season. They have been dominant thus far and face their toughest test here, but I feel like this squad is ready. Brad Brownell has one of the deepest benches in college basketball and he can always rely on them when called upon
  • The team that plays better defense will likely win this game and all indications point to that team being Clemson. They currently rank tenth in the country in terms of defensive efficiency and should be able to lock down the paint here today. Clemson’s win makes things a bit closer in the ACC/Big Ten challenge

Northern Iowa +8.5 at Richmond

  • Few teams in the country have started off as impressively as Richmond. The Spiders are 3-0 on the young season with wins over Wofford and Kentucky already. With a trip to West Virginia scheduled for Saturday, they need to be extremely careful not to overlook Northern Iowa today
  • As for the Panthers, it has been a trying start to the season. Ben Jacobson’s squad dropped three very tough games to Western Kentucky, St. Mary’s and Utah State. Those contests were decided by an average of just six points. I think at the very least, Northern Iowa keeps things close once again today
  • The three ball will also dictate a huge portion of this game. Northern Iowa has been one of the best in the country at shooting beyond the arc. Half of their shots come from three-point range and those are converting at a staggering 44.6 percent clip. Richmond cannot compete if this becomes a shootout

Marshall -5.5 at Charleston

  • The College of Charleston has not been able to get the ball through the basket. Under 44 percent of their field goal attempts are converted and they are shooting even worse than that at the charity stripe. With points so hard to come by I seriously doubt they can cover in this game
  • Charleston has just one win this season coming against Division II Limestone. They have also failed to cover the spread in their two losses thus far. With the slow, grueling pace that the Cougars like to play, it is hard to imagine them hanging with Marshall here today
  • Marshall’s Thundering Herd returns nearly all players from last season. Dan D’Antoni coaches a good small-ball lineup similar to his brother but has forwards that can also tear it up inside against weaker Division I competition. I expect no less than 80 points from this team tonight

Southeast Missouri vs Lipscomb, Over 141.5

  • Lipscomb had one of the best defenses in the country two short years ago, but since then things have gone dramatically downhill. They are favored by seven ahead of tonight’s matchup but are allowing an average of over 75 points per game. I really like the high here
  • Southeast Missouri has cashed the over in all three games so far this season. Their best offensive performance came Monday against this same Lipscomb squad as they scored 82 points. I expect another close matchup this evening where the over hits with relative ease
  • The best part of betting this Southeast Missouri squad is that you are never out of the game. They are happy to shoot the three ball which has converted at an over 38 percent clip this season. I anticipate they score plenty of points here today and perhaps beat Lipscomb once again

Liberty +9.5 at Missouri

  • I like what I have seen out of Liberty thus far. They already have impressive wins over two SEC opponents in both Mississippi State and South Carolina. While I think they have a fair change at beating Missouri, I love them getting so many points in this spot, even in a road game
  • Missouri has won all three games this season but are very tough to measure. Beating Oregon on a neutral court clearly says a lot about a team but I just do not know how they fair against a high percentage shooting team like Liberty. Especially since this game should be played at a very slow tempo
  • Liberty is 4-1 against the spread this season. Not only are their wins impressive but their losses have been too. They were beat by 4 points when facing TCU and just 13 opening the season against Purdue. Clearly this team can keep up with those from power conferences

Let’s win today Playmakers! I am confident in every pick that I provide and play them myself. College basketball is unpredictable and that’s why we love it, so always bet smart!
