League of Legends – LPL/LCK – Slate Breakdown (6/9) – LoL DFS

Who’s ready for some League of Legends, Playmakers! Robbie Catterton a.k.a. TeamCATT here, ready to provide all of you the information necessary to compete consistently in the unpredictable, crazy and awesome world that we call eSports!

For all of our new playmakers wondering who is this guy trying to get me interested in the world of eSports, I am known as TeamCATT here at Daily Play Action. Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA playing and following all sports growing up and was lucky enough to compete in both Football and Baseball at the Division I Collegiate level. I have been involved in DFS since 2017 and have been full go in this life we call Daily Fantasy Sports ever since. Just like many of you, I had never played eSports in DFS before the major sports leagues stopped back in March, but dove in immediately after we lost our favorite pastimes and have risen all the way to currently being ranked in the Top 25 Nationally in eSports in less then 2 months of playing, to go along with a Top 250 National ranking in all sports.

Alright enough about me, let’s get onto the real reason were all here today; League of Legends DFS!

(Best of 3)

LCK Game 1: Liiv SANDBOX (LSB) – Fredit BRION (BRO)

Getting the day started for us as well as opening up the LCK season brings two teams that showed glimpses of promise in the spring but overall underperformed as a whole and ended at the bottom of the league standings. While the standings lacked, both teams did battle each other extremely well in the spring splitting the season series 1-1. BRO have a slim advantage in the BOT lane with ADC Hena (7 kills, 8 assists per game) but for me the biggest advantage is with LSB and the top side of the map and MID FATE (7 kills, 13 assists per game) as he along with is JNG and TOP should be strong enough to control this one. While this shapes up to be close I’m leaning LSB but if mass entering I don’t blame you for having shares of BRO.

Top Plays LSB: MID FATE $7,800, TOP Summit $6,400

Top Plays BRO: ADC Hena $7,000, JNG UmTi $5,800

LCK Game 2: Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) T1 (T1)

Our final LCK game of the day could prove to be a banger, at least in real life LoL terms, DFS wise is to be determined. HLE and T1 are two of the premier teams in the LCK and should compete with the best in the league all season. T1 took the season series 2-0 in the spring but HLE are a very capable squad but rely heavily on their ADC/MID duo of Chovy (10 kills, 15 assists per game) and Deft (10 kills, 13 assists per game) and if their on Hanwha are tough to beat but if their off T1 will run away with this one. T1 frustrated us extremely in the spring with a roster rotation of 10 players but after reading preseason talk from their coach I am more confident that we should see the T1 from the end of the spring split, the real T1 in my eyes. ADC Teddy (11 kills, 13 assists per game) and SUP Keria (2 kills, 21 assists per game) are ELITE players at their respective positions and throw in the GOAT MID Faker (8 kills, 16 assists per game) and T1 secretly are my favorite stack of the day. HLE are very live though.

Top Plays HLE: MID Chovy $7,200, ADC Deft $7,200

Top Plays T1: ADC Teddy $7,800, TOP Canna $6,200

LPL Game 1: Ultra Prime (UP) FunPlus Phoenix (FPX)

This ones gonna be short and sweet, PLAY FPX! Ultra Prime, formerly eStar, finished in the bottom of the LPL spring standings and even though they did make a couple roster changes at key positions tomorrow is not the day for me to trust them. FPX are former world champions, a consistent threat not only in the LPL but all international events, feature a former World’s MVP in MID Doinb (8 kills, 20 assists per game), and arguably the best TOP laner on the planet in TOP Nuguri (7 kills, 16 assists per game), like I said above PLAY FPX!

Top Plays UP: MID xiaocaobao $5,800, JNG H4cker $5,600

Top Plays FPX: ADC Lwx $8,200, TOP Nuguri $6,800

LPL Game 2: Victory Five (V5) LNG Esports (LNG)

Finishing our day off brings us two teams that finished the spring in the middle of the pack in the LPL. LNG Esports took the spring series pretty convincingly in a one sided sweep but this is literally a completely new V5 squad so anything is on the table. While LNG could win strictly on familiarity with each other they do feature advantages at virtually each position as well. V5 brought over MID Uniboy (6 kills, 13 assists per game) from LGD and the rest of their roster from the academy ranks so while this team could form to be decent I need to wait on this one. I do firmly believe LNG should take this one but with so many new faces on Victory I don’t blame you for taking a dart throw or two on the dog.

Top Plays V5: MID Uniboy $6,400, TOP invincible $5,600

Top Plays LNG: ADC Light $8,000, JNG Tarzan $6,800

*TeamCATT’s Top Stacks: FPX, T1, LNG, LSB, BRO, HLE

*TeamCATT’s Top Captains: ADC Lwx $12,300, ADC Teddy $11,700, MID Doinb $12,000, MID Faker $10,500, ADC Light $12,000, MID FATE $11,700, ADC Hena $10,500, MID Chovy $10,800, JNG Tian $11,100 (stack specific), TOP Nuguri $10,200 (stack specific), JNG Cuzz $9,900 (stack specific), TOP Canna $9,300 (stack specific)
